I'm Home ~Home Sweet Home~

There is a new meaning to home sweet home for me, I will do my best to bring it alive in these last pages!

We left Israel at 7am Thursday to catch our flight, guess who they pick out to go through their luggage yep me! That does it I will not leave the country again until I get a new picture on my passport! They had all my stuff spread out on the counter, going through my check-in bag, they checked Susan's too but.. she was easy she was already in the line to give them her luggage. Not me I'm being asked all kinds of questions. I was bringing back a very small bottle of their wine with two little wooded cups attached to it for communion, I had picked it up in Nazareth a traditional site, where they brought back the days of Jesus it was really cool anyway, it has the verse 1 Corinthians 11:25 on it. After supper Jesus took the cup, saying "this cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me" It also has info about Nazareth village, they have programs where you can go there and serve! Know anyone interested go to http://www.nazarethvillage.com/ It was a really neat set, I brought it back for Doug and I. Also I had some soaps in their original package, I got them in Jordan. They asked me many questions, like where did I get them? Did someone give them to me? Did you leave them with anyone? Do you have a bomb? Yes, they asked me that. If they were not so serious, I probably would have laughed and said If I had a bomb do you think I'm going to tell you lol They asked me if I was with someone I said yes, they asked who?  I said Susan and pointed her out in the other line. They said get her, she will need to take these things in her luggage?? Weird but I got her and she carried them in her luggage for me??

Our first flight was 12 hrs to Newark, so I was able to re-size the last days of my pictures, you will see in the last blogs. I did figure out how to re-size them faster, so I'm ready for the next trip lol. Our second flight was about 4hrs, to San Francisco, we had to run (we were the last ones) to catch the last flight 1.5hrs to Portland. We got to our Hotel around 1:30 am. We lost 7hrs in space lol got a few hours sleep up by 5 ready set, home here we come! Had breakfast with Susan in Salem first sight of pork in 15 days was on Susan's plate lol My first stop after that was Charley's BBQ so nice to touch and feel the ones you love! Jenn and Eric meet me there, baby Jordyn is growing so beautifully in her moms belly! Jenn you are beautiful! had some pulled pork and frys, stopped and said Hi to my mom and back to work I go! at about 4 I felt the energy drain out of me, so when I finished up around 7 I hit the sack and was up this morning at 3:30am My clock is messed up lol I've always been a little cookoo  lol
